Nizamuddin Auliya ke Pehloo Mein Dastaan
Agha Khan Development Network "Celebrates Apni Basti" by organizing back to back Dastangoi performances at the recently renewed monument "Chaunsath Khamba" at 6 pm on December 10 and 11, 2010. Performers will include Ustad-e-Mohtram, Prof. Shahid Amin. So, a spectacle not to be missed. :-)

How/where do we procure passes?
I was privileged to watch the performance on 11th at Chausathkhamba. It was indeed a pleasure to be there.. And what can i say about the performance. Itna kah sakta hoon ki aisi mehfil zaban-e-urdu ko sakte se nikaal sakti hai!! Urdu zaban ki nafasat, lachak and bankapan were all displayed in masterly performance of Ankit, Singh, Dan and MAFA. Sach bataon to I was transported to my childhood and remembered ammi who used to tell dastaan. I am looking forwrad to attending more of your dastangopi mehfil and if possible attend your workshop and becoem a dastango myself... Insha Allah.
