1 noon to 2 noon – Press Conference to be addressed by BINAYAK and ILINA, at the Azam Campus, over lunch for the press and all of us.

(With this, the main program for the day ends. The Hall of the campus, where this program is being organised, has a capacity of 400. But we wanted more students to hear Binayak, so we have organised another talk in the afternoon for Binayak where the MBA and MCA students will attend)

In one of the halls we have the film festival going on too, comprising documentaries related to the theme.

3. Interaction for Lokayat activists with Binayak Sen, in the morning, from say 11 am to 1 noon. This interaction will be in one of the rooms of the Lokayat Building.

A Rajasthani Folk Tale & A Lost Art Form of Storytelling: Dastan-e-Chouboli

We're attempt a first - marrying a Rajasthani folk tale to a form of Urdu storytelling. And we hope this fusion will be as riveting as the tales from the Tilism-e-Hoshruba.

Mahmood Farooqui presents

In Association with the Old World Culture

A Dastangoi presentation of the great Rajasthani folk story CHOUBOLI
Based on the version created by Vijaydan Detha

Princess Chauboli has vowed that she will only marry a man that can make her speak four times in one night. Seventeen times twenty-four princes have tried and failed and are now rotting in the dungeon grinding fodder for horses. A brave and valiant Thakur, one who shoots 108 arrows through his wife's nose-ring, everyday, day after day, also wants to try his luck. What happens to him? How will Chouboli be won? Containing a story within a story within a story, some of them pan India favorites, Chouboli is a funny, bitter, sarcastic and lyrical take on Indian life.
